DEPOSIT for Afternoon Tea
If you like the look of our Dine-In afternoon tea, but would prefer not to pre-pay in full, please use this product to book your venue, date and time, and pay a £10 per person deposit. Please include adults and children in your total. You will be asked to pay the balance on the day.
Your deposit is refundable at our discretion, however for cancellations less than 3 days before the booking the deposit will not be refunded.
Dietary Requirements
Vegetarian or Halal? We've got you, just let us know in the 'Dietary Requirements' box. Please note we DO NOT offer GF, dairy-free or Vegan afternoon tea. If one of your party has these requirements, they can join the group and order items from our regular menu on the day. Just book for one less person and mention in the order notes that you'd like an additional place at the table.
Important Information
This website is not ideal for dine-in bookings because it was originally built for delivery. You will be offered a choice of collection or delivery so please choose 'collection' to avoid a delivery charge being added. Pick the nearest time slot offered and then let us know your preferred arrival time in the order notes. We can serve any time from 2pm but note that the cafes close at 5pm (4pm in winter season). We don't suggest you arrive later than 3pm (2.30pm winter) so that you have time to enjoy your afternoon tea. By booking this product we will automatically reserve you a table.
ORDER DEADLINE: Online orders can be made up to 48 hours before your date.
PRICES: Adult price £26.95, child price £18.95 (suitable for children aged up to 12 years old). Please note a service charge of 12.5% is added, so on booking you will see prices inclusive of service charge, being £30.32 per adult and £21.32 per child. Your service charge goes to the café team in full.
Larder Afternoon Tea Box
[48 HOURS' NOTICE] The Larder Afternoon Tea experience in the comfort of your own home, though you’ll have to dig out your own fancy stand! A selection of rough-cut sandwiches on artisan breads (no dainty finger sandwiches here) plus freshly baked cake bites, and of course there’s scones with clotted cream and jam. Boiling water doesn’t transport too well, so get the kettle on and we’ll provide our top quality British Brew tea bags. If you’re looking for afternoon tea delivery, or collection, you’re at the right place! We use all natural ingredients and the exact selection varies on the day, so we don't offer a menu.
Large group? You may want to look at the Fast Foodie Feasts - there's an afternoon tea option for 6 or 12 guests. It's lower-priced per head than this afternoon tea box as it contains less sandwiches per person, and the sandwiches and cakes are not cut as small.

The price per adult is £19.95 and the minimum order is for 2 people.

Larder Buffet Box
The Larder's ever-popular finger buffet is chosen time and again by our catering clients - now it can be delivered to your door for effortless entertaining. All items are freshly made and will be delicious served and eaten at room temperature, with the exception of the brioche burger for which the burgers would need to be popped in the oven for 10 minutes before serving. This is a true, ready to go, Buffet in a Box - effortless catering for your group, and proving popular as something to offer the parents during a kids party at home.
To order, take a look at our finger buffet selection here then decide how many items you'd like per person. Just put your choices in the order notes, or once you've ordered drop us an email with the list of items you've chosen. Please note we require a MINIMUM ORDER OF x 15, regardless of the number of items per person you choose. We also require 5 days notice. Please note our site is not super clever and will allow you to order less than 15 quantity, and will allow less than 5 days notice, however these orders will not be accepted and your card will be refunded.
For example: if you want a filling buffet for 20 people you might wish to choose the 7 or 8 items option and order x 20 of these. If you'd like a lighter lunch or something for late evening with drinks, you might choose 5 or 6 items each, and if it's just a snack, or to go along with other items you're ordering or making, 3 or 4 items per person might do the trick. In each case you'd order x 20 as your order quantity.
